About Anesthesia Associates of Gainesville

Anesthesia Associates of Gainesville, LLC was originally formed and managed by Calvin Allen, MD in 1958. The group began to grow at a steady pace and was incorporated later in 1974. The growth of physicians, anesthetists and staff at AAG has been continuously stable over the years. AAG is the exclusive provider of anesthesia services to Northeast Georgia Medical Center's Gainesville and Braselton campuses. Anesthesia services are also rendered to Specialty Orthopedics Surgery Center, LLC, Northeast Georgia Urological Surgery Center and Northeast Georgia Plastic Surgery Associates, P.C. through AAGs subsidiary, Ambulatory Anesthesia of North Georgia, LLC.

AAG participates with the highly regarded Emory Master’s of Medical Science program and Medical College of Georgia’s Nurse Anesthesia Educational program. The practice also provides training on airway management to the NGMC respiratory Therapy Department and Lanier Technical Institute’s Paramedic Students when requested.
